Taga Town is located in the Inukami District of Shiga Prefecture and has developed around the Taga Taisha Shrine, which enshrines the two deities Izanagi and Izanami throughout history. The Taga Town Central Community Center "Taga Yui no Mori," situated nearby, is designed to convey the warmth of wood using locally sourced timber. It has been renovated to become a hub for community development, welcoming everyone from children to the elderly, particularly catering to families with children. In this new multipurpose hall, the Tango (Hook) Curtain has been adopted for the stage. The curtain's design was created by painter Ai Sasaki, who resides in Kansai, and it reflects a deep love for the local nature of Taga Town. It features the mountains and plants unique to Taga, and the theme of the curtain emphasizes the creation of a piece that can be passed down through generations. It embodies the spirit of “a forest where everyone can easily gather,” inviting all to visit and connect.
