The Gojo Project (tentative name) is a rental office building completed by Nihon Kensetsu Co., Ltd., located about 1 km north of Kyoto Station, making it a convenient location. The horizontal circular recycling carpet tile "ECOS®" LX-1800 Series has been adopted in the tenant areas and hallways on each floor of this office building.
The name of this series, TIDE, is inspired by the changing expressions of the sea due to the ebb and flow of tides, reflecting how the appearance of the carpet shifts based on the angle of light coming through the windows. The design features a three-dimensional texture that creates the illusion of depth, appearing to sink or rise depending on the lighting.
From an environmental perspective, this horizontal circular recycling carpet tile has a 70% recycled material ratio and a 25% CO₂ reduction rate, making it an eco-friendly flooring option suitable for next-generation rental offices.
