Yuwaku Onsen Yunode Ryokan, known as the hidden retreat of Kanazawa, was discovered in 718 (Yoro 2nd year) when a paper maker saw a white heron soaking itself in the spring. Upon closer inspection, he found hot water gushing from the ground, giving birth to the onsen and its name. The building is built in the traditional Japanese architectural style known as sukiya-zukuri, a style that originated in the Azuchi-Momoyama period, favored by tea masters who preferred simple, elegant designs over rigid and elaborate ones. This time, our custom Axminster carpet was installed in the lobby, hallways, and staircases. The design features a dynamic, sweeping curve, offering a modern aesthetic while maintaining a relaxing atmosphere.
