Satsumasendai City is located in the northwestern part of the Satsuma Peninsula, and consists of the prefectural capital Kagoshima City and Ichikikushikino City to the south, the mainland area adjoining Akune City to the north, and the Koshikishima Islands. It has a diverse natural environment, including a coastline of white sand and green pine trees facing the East China Sea, a first-class river called the Sendai River that flows leisurely through the city, lush mountains and lakes such as Imuta Pond, Koshiki Island with its beautiful topography, and hot springs in various locations. The city's diverse and beautiful natural environment has been designated as the Kawauchi River Basin Prefectural Natural Park, Imutaike Prefectural Natural Park, and Koshikijima Quasi-National Park, and is loved by people. Satsumasendai City Kawauchi Station Convention Center SS Plaza Sendai, like the Kawauchi River that has brought many blessings to people's lives, is creating a new flow of people and a new activity base for citizens, creating a diverse gathering place. The theme of the stage curtain chosen this time was ``Fly to a bright future'' as it is a MICE facility such as a convention hall, conference room, social salon, and multi-purpose kitchen where people gather and engage in activities. The pattern on the stage curtain depicts birds taking flight, as this area is also a habitat for a wide variety of waterfowl. The appearance of its wings spreading vigorously into the sky represents the future of children flying into the future and the future prosperity of Satsumasendai City. The color scheme uses gradations to express the blue of the Kawauchi River that flows through the center of the city, the green of the mountains and fields, and the sunsets and sunrises, creating a sense of dynamism towards a bright future. Emphasizing harmony with the interior of the hall, we chose colors that give a sense of nature. We valued the sense of unity with the interior of the hall, which features wood-like floors and walls, and chose a gentle color scheme that blends in with various scenes, such as parties and stage viewing.
