Ayu no Sato, a clear stream landscape and flower garden located in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, is one of the historical hot spring inns that was founded in 1941 and is representative of Hitoyoshi Onsen. With the client's desire to ``become an opportunity to revitalize the entire area,'' we held a grand opening on August 30th, one year after the heavy rain disaster in July 2020, ahead of Hitoyoshi City's recovery. For this reconstruction, we received a request for ``SUMINOE carpet,'' and we decided to use it. Based on the overall concept of ``Way-Yu-Waraku'', the lobby on the first floor is decorated with formal patterns from the Tenpyo period, as well as the Sakucho-mon, a bird with a flower in its mouth that brings happiness, and the carpet in the lounge has a Japanese pattern with various patterns randomly arranged from kimono and obi designs.
