Chubu Centrair International Airport, affectionately known as Centrair, is an airport that, as its name suggests, serves as the international gateway to the Chubu region. A part of the boarding gate is specially made.Horizontal recyclingCarpet tile"ECOS®"was adopted. Adopts SUMINOE GROUP's unique "ECOS® backing", which has a recycled material ratio of 62%, which is among the top in the world.CO₂Achieved a reduction contribution rate of 15% (compared to our conventional product based on LCA). Durability is of paramount importance at airports, as they are used in areas where many people and cargo come and go. Therefore, we use spun-dyed nylon yarn for the pile material, and the density of the pile yarn has been significantly increased, making it highly resistant to sagging and durable for long-term use. In addition, from a design standpoint, the pile surface is treated with chip shear processing to create a plain high and low design that has a sense of volume but has no steps, creating a finish that gives a sense of luxury. Due to these features, it is a product that is environmentally friendly, durable, and aesthetically pleasing.Carpet tileThe Chubu Centrair International Airport Group's two environmental policies, ``reducing environmental impact'' and ``saving energy and resources,'' matched the SUMINOE GROUP's policy, so it was adopted. Going forward, according to the annual plan, all of this area will be recycled in a horizontally circular manner.Carpet tileThe content is being reborn as "ECOS®".
