"Aicle" refers to the "Aichi Prefecture Recycled Materials Evaluation System" (generic name: Aicle), which started in 2002 in Aichi Prefecture.
What can we do to use more recycled materials in public construction? Aikuru is a system created from this perspective.

Aiming to form a recycling-oriented society, in 2000(2000)The Green Purchasing Law was enacted. However, despite the large amount of materials used in public construction in Aichi Prefecture, green purchasing has not progressed.
There are two reasons.
・Construction materials will be procured not by the client (Aichi Prefecture) but by the construction company contracting for the work.
・It is unclear how to ensure quality and performance that can be used in public construction.
Therefore, Aikuru was born as a system to establish evaluation standards for quality and performance, certify compliant recycled products, and promote their use in public works.
The recycled materials certified by Aikuru are called "Aikuru materials."

Characteristics of Aikuru
(1) The certified items are limited to construction materials, and standards are set in line with public construction specifications.
(2) The origin of recycled resources and the manufacturing location of recycled materials are not limited to Aichi Prefecture.
(3) Since the construction department operates the system, public works can be handled smoothly.
