A new landmark connecting the bustling water metropolis of Osaka has emerged at the intersection of the symbolic "Midosuji" and the historic "Dojima River" — the Osaka Dojimahama Tower. This 31-story mixed-use building features office, hotel, and commercial spaces. The office floors, from the 4th to the 15th floors, offer a pillar-free space of approximately 530 tsubo (1,750 m²) per floor, allowing for a variety of layouts. The offices are also environmentally conscious, featuring double-paned glass and using electricity generated from renewable energy sources. For these office floors, the horizontal circulation recycled carpet tiles “ECOS®” LX series were selected. In the private office areas, the ECOS LX-1816, featuring a simple yet beautifully textured shadow design, was installed in a checkerboard pattern. In the corridors and elevator halls of the common areas, the ECOS LX-2502, inspired by the texture of rock surfaces, was also installed in a checkerboard pattern, while the borders feature the solid-colored ECOS LX-1903 laid in a straight grain to create a striking accent. The ECOS LX series, part of SUMINOE GROUP’s unique horizontal circulation recycling system, recycles used carpet tiles and significantly reduces the use of virgin materials, contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The product contains 71% recycled materials (by total product weight) and achieves a 48% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to products made from virgin raw materials.
