The new facility "Arcrea HIMEJI" was built as a base for culture and art. The stage hall's curtain design was donated by the late Kenzo Takada, a world-renowned designer from Himeji City. We received an order for curtains for both the large and middle halls. The curtain of the large hall depicts the scene where the eastern sky gradually brightens, symbolizing the moment when the morning sun illuminates the earth with Shirasagi Castle (Himeji Castle) in the background. The curtain of the middle hall features a peony flower with Shirasagi Castle floating in the enchanting light of the setting sun, as if the sunlight of the day is slowly fading. This image is expressed though the curtain design. The design concept was faithfully recreated, and upon delivery, it received high praise from all involved parties.
