In March 2024, the new landmark of Osaka City, "Osaka Dojima-Hama Tower," opened with the flagship hotel of Candeo Hotels, "Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower," debuting in July 2024. The hotel, which has the chain’s largest number of 548 rooms, boasts magnificent views of the city of Osaka from every room, and features the "Sky Spa in the Sky," an outdoor bath located 135 meters above the ground, one of the highest in the world. Candeo Hotels (CANDEO = "shining brightly") offers a unique four-star experience, delivering exceptional space, sleep, service, and dining, providing guests with a high-quality and vibrant experience. The flooring of this hotel was equipped with custom horizontal circulation recycled carpet tiles, "ECOS®." This series is part of SUMINOE GROUP’s unique recycling system, which recycles used carpet tiles with a high ratio of recycled material, significantly reducing the use of virgin materials, thus lowering energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The design of the carpet tiles was created to enhance the interior, including the travertine and copper tones used throughout the guest rooms. While blending seamlessly into the space, the yellow-gold accent color elevates the luxurious atmosphere of the rooms.
